Okay I have two DJ's in mind, but 1 is needed me to pay extra so they can rent equipment, and the other is charging a heck of a lot. Just wondering who you all are using and if they are reasonable or you just picked them?

    We booked LG Entertainment. Lewis is a super nice guy and knows his stuff. They're a bit on the higher side, but I know he's going to do a great job.

    You shouldn't have to pay a DJ extra so they can rent equipment. That doesn't even sound right.

    I am also using LG.  :D  You shouldn't have to pay more so that the dj can "rent equipment" he shouldn't be a dj!!  lol

    Going with dj sounds by Mario, was a recommendation to us.
    Very reasonable prices, most dj quotes I received were over $100/hour, Mario is slightly less than that, very nice, responded to my emails and texts promptly, plays all types of music, contact # 832-665-6049, email: mariodadj@yahoo.com

    Space City Entertainment is 800 for 4 hours....DJ services are crazy high in this town! lol

    We are using Rockin' Robin.  His rates start at $800 for 4 hours and $150 for each additional hour.  He communicates REALLY well and has some really good ideas.

    I just reserved my DJ last week for $495 for 6 hours through discjockeysnow.com. They were really professional and inexpensive!!

    Have heard about this guy. I heard he's really good but the idea of paying that much for a DJ just irks me. I will see though. I know that music and food make the reception.
