Need Floral Help

I have already booked my florist but decided after the fact that I want to include flowers on the cake. My florist wants to charge me $125 for the cake flowers. As this seems a little ridiculous to me, does anyone have any suggestions or wholesale flower places where I could buy just a few loose flowers myself? Or silk flowers? Any money saving thoughts would be appreciated!

    I got my cake flowers at Hobby Lobby when they had their wedding stuff 50% off.  They ended up being like $0.75 each.  $125 is a bit ridiculous!

    yea no kidding.  I say go for the silk flowers or just go to a market to pick up a few stems and give them to your cake person to attach to.

    Go the Thursday prior to your wedding that when most supermarkets get their fresh delivery of flowers. Sam's, Hubbell & Hudson (the woodlands) & Kroger on West Gray have beautiful flowers.
