candy buffet

I really should have looked into it before I decided to do it!  I knew it would be kinda pricey but I didn't realize it would be that expensive to do!  I already purchased some candy and containers.  Now I don't even feel like doing it! I contacted a local candy buffet and they charge $5.50 a person.  WOAH!  I'm having over 220 people. (don't have my final count yet)  I'd rather not.  Not to mention I am having a photo booth.  I guess I really don't need the candy bar  If anyone needs some containers I might be selling them!!

Yes, it can be pricey mainly for the candy if you are having a color theme. I got containers from different family members. So we had all sorts of different sizes which looked great.

This is one of those things that after all is said and done and their is money left over this would be fun to have. Want one but candy can get expensive really quick! Do you think cookies would be cheaper?

I did a candy buffet. My Mom and I bought containers from places like TJ Maxx and Marshalls and borrowed some from family members. My wedding was in April so the day after Valentine's day my Mom went to Target and bought a lot of candy at 50%+ off. It was perfect because my colors were pink and there was a bunch of heart shaped stuff. I ordered chinese take-out containers from online. I really don't think it ended up costing too much and it was a big hit.

That's what I'm planning on doing.  My colors and pink and aqua blue, so I plan on hitting up the stores after Valentine's and Easter.  My wedding is in May.

since you already have containers, I think you should do the buffet if you want and just limit the options.  I hope it works out.

also, I've been slowly getting containers from Ross (which is just like TJ Maxx) and they haven't been very expensive.

whether you use your containers or not, I'm interested in buying them from you after your wedding. my wedding isn't until May.

I have a big martini glass and some type of other one a large bowl and a tall wide cylinder container.  Once I talk to my mom about it i'll let you know about the containers.  I got mine from Arne's.

I am thinking that since I am doing a photo booth I really don't need the candy bar because the photo booth will be more of a favor.  I did find a website that has cocktail flavored jelly beans though.  I think they would be YUMMY!
