So I totally forgot that my mom's bday is in 10 days and I want to get her a really yummy cake. I don't want to use my wedding cake baker since she's all the way in the heights.

Any suggestions for out in the Katy/West Houston area? (I already know about Cakes by Gina in Sugar Land)

I want something fun and yummy, but simple. I'm thinking hot pink icing with some pretty fresh flowers.

Edible designs by jessie...her cakes are tasty and look great. She is right off of Highway 6 before you get to westheimer.

Timtations does specialty cakes... weddings or otherwise. I'm using him for my wedding cake but have used him for several other desserts as well.
