Anyone know a cheap place to get AIRBRUSH MAKEUP??

I don't want to spend a whole lot on this, but does anyone know of a good cheap place to get your makeup done, preferably airbrush makeup?  I'm not really sure how much it cost and if its worth it?

I used Leah with Your Beautiful Face Co.  She did great and was totally affordable.  Definitely look into her.

I'm also using Hair by Liz for my wedding next weekend. I had my trial and I loved it. I didn't even bring pictures, I just told her want I wanted and was very happy with the result.

Also, I was in  a Sephora yesterday (not in Houston) and at their Beauty Studio I saw a sales associate applying some kind of airbrush makeup on a customer. You may want to check that out because it would probably be cheaper than a makeup artist.

I would not recommend going cheap on makeup - after doing a trial run with Empire Faces (who I chose based on great pictures and affordable pricing) - the quality was horrible.  In my opinion, it is worth spending more on makeup - you will be looking at your pictures forever.  Beautique in Rice Village charges $75 for airbrush and they are great.

I used Your Beautiful Face as well and everything looked perfect.  I also went with junior stylists for both hair and makeup.  The price was very reasonable and the quality was great.

Empire Faces has worked with hundreds of brides since 1990, and Ms. Hoiland was the first to ever respond with such emphatic negativism.  The company policies are clearly printed both online, and in the contract which this bride agreed to & signed before ever placing a deposit.
Also we would like to acknowledge that while this bride has her opinions about the trial (which is a trial after all), she conveniently forgot to mention in her blogging rants, that she repeatedly messed up her hair with her own fingers  (like bedhead) after spraying, and refused to let the stylist fix it, with much childlike behavior. She also brought in a photograph, for reference at our request, and then described that she wanted it done nothing like the reference picture she brought. (Basically changed her mind several times) so she was completely confused (or had no idea) about what she wanted.  Because she also said to me that day of the trial, "I loved my makeup, just not the stylist...could I have someone else?" We even offered her a new beauty team altogether, and tried to accommodate her with another stylist, which she refused, so that the next day she basically decided she wanted a refund. Before even speaking to the director, she wrote insulting emails, verbally used profanity, & threated to post negative statements about our business unless we gave her the non-refundable deposit, yet had the audacity to call us unprofessional. Unprofessional, by definition means, that the vendor is late or does not do their job (i.e., talking on cell, smoking, impolite, not making an effort to do what the client asks) which Empire Faces does none of those things. We kept trying to clarify what she wanted, but she was clearly looking for a free trial. The Empire Faces policy is that of any other wedding vendor, that all services are reserved and paid before the wedding date.  We refunded all of her bridesmaids instantly, and promptly sent her emails, and text to confirm her request for cancellation, but when her tantrums for attention continued after the fact, we ceased responding to her at all. Ms. Hoiland never paid her account in full, so she basically lost her non-refundable deposit, since we declined 2 other weddings based on her reservation.
Empire Faces prides itself on the level of customer service we provide to each and every bride to make sure their wedding experience is the best it can be.  We even take photographs of our work to send to the clients for reference, to ensure that what they want is what they will get on the big day.  Ms. Hoiland never gave us that opportunity, when she even said verbatim, "Lara I can see that you are trying very hard to make me happy, but I don't think there is anyone that can make me happy." So with that being said, we will congratulate her on being crowned our only "refund account" in history, and our one and only  "zilla" encounter.  Thank you.
