one-hour photo thank you card

I just went to a wedding in California this past weekend where the guests took a picture with the bride and groom as they entered the receiving line. Guests were then given a number (ours was 62) and about an hour into the reception somebody from the photography team walked around matching your number with a 4x6 photo we took with the couple. It was slipped inside a thank you card. We thought this was such a great idea and the turn around time was impressive. Is this a trend that's only in California? Does anybody know if there's a group that does this in Houston? We'd love to have this at a our wedding.

That's a great idea... thanks for sharing...

I'm not sure of anyone/group that does this in Houston, but if you have any friends/guest that like to take pictures, know how to and willing to do this for you... it could possibly work... also if there is a one-hour photo place close to where your reception is being held that will help/accommodate you... Good luck!

I would hire someone and get a digital camera and printer to have it done on site. It would just have to be well organized and you can make it work!

My dad went to a wedding here where the couple did that for the guests. He suggested it for our wedding. We had already booked our photos and they didn't offer that.
