Another FMIL Update *minor*

FI talked to his dad again today, and he said that things are slowly getting better. He said she is beginning to work past everything, and time is probably helping. She paid their share of the flower bill yesterday, so that is paid in full, and she put the deposit down on the RD as well. So relieved! I'm glad at least we don't have to worry with that anymore.

Now all we need to know about is alcohol. They offered to pay for an open bar, but if that is no longer what she (and I say she because FFIL is totally on our side) wants to do, then we will have to limit it to a few beers, maybe a wine or two, and a rum punch or something.

Glad everything is simmering down!  Shouldn't be a big deal if you do need to limit the bar, I'm sure most people will be fine with either one of those options or something non-alcoholic.

I paid my flowers in full today as well!
Now I just have the photographer and baker to pay, besides the smaller things.

So glad to hear things are calming down and that she is coming around at least a bit. Yay on having flowers and RD paid off thats a nice feeling of relief.

I'm glad to hear she's simmering down a little.  What a relief!

As far as the bar goes, I think guests would be fine with that kind of selection, and if not, well, it's a FREE bar.    We are only having beer and wine, because our venue doesn't allow hard A.  That's actually totally ok by me, our wedding isn't going to be an all night raging party, and half our guests don't drink, so it will keep the booze bill down.

Yeah beer and wine would be a great option too, but FI and I hate both of them, so we have to have something liquor based.

We decided to to a beer/wine open bar just b/c our freinds can really drink!  lol  I'm not down with the reception becoming a HUGE raging party, so i think it'll keep some people at bay.    I'm so glad she's calming down Erica - and it feels great to pay things off!  I just paid off the photographer yesterday!  Ohhh, that was a big one!  lol

I'm really happy to hear that she's coming around to her senses. Hopefully everything else will work out like its supposed to in the next 2 months!
