My sister is looking for a venue what do y'all think of ECB??

Ive only been to a charity dinner there, not a wedding...

but that place is DARK. like super super super super dark. So be prepared to spend money on making it not so dark, and/or finding a photographer who can deal with it properly.

I went to a wedding there and it was nice.  Only thing is they had a ton of uplights.

I haven't been inside, but I am pretty sure it's in a space that used to be a grocery store, so it still sort of looks commercial from the outside, and for my family it would have been odd (since they used to shop there). Still, the pictures on its website look nice and again, I haven't actually been inside. Just know that it's in sort of a strip mall setup.

I was there for a wedding and did not care for it.  Too dark and dank for me.

It's located in a strip center which is very odd. Also the room where the ceremony would be held looks like a cheap Vegas chapel. The ceilings were very low and the chairs had a weird gold print. The reception room was nice and they had a nice sound system. But overall the cons outweigh the pros in my opinion.

At the Enchanted Cypress Ballroom all of our lighting, including our chandeliers are on a dimmer switches so our lighting is fully adjustable and can be as bright or as dark as you desire. We base on our event lighting on our client's requests and what is appropriate for the event.

Yes, we are located in the strip center but don't let the outside appearance deceive you because you will be pleasantly surprised at the interior - hence the name "Enchanted" Cypress Ballroom - you truly feel like you have stepped into another space. We own the strip center so during functions, the corridor/foyer is curtained off and you make your way up the red carpet to a picturesque water fountain in front of the 18 feet tall gold-leaf wrought iron doors. The foyer is surrounded by tall trees with candlelit lanterns, illuminated with LED spotlights.

Our Grand Ballroom is a mix of glamour and warmth with intricate bronze, gold and wrought iron décor highlighted by the exquisite custom-made crystal chandeliers that adorn the entire space.
