Bridal Portraits in The Woodlands??

Okay ladies, my last fitting is approaching and now I need to schedule my bridal portraits (which I am so nervous about). I live in The Woodlands and am not real familiar where everything is at. If you have been here, you should know that everything is hidden. Anyways, can anyone suggest where would be a great place to take bridal portraits??? Open to all suggestions. It just makes me nervous thinking that I will be walking around in my wedding dress in public. I can just feel people starring at me..ugh.

I would suggest market Street area or the park over by the pavillion that would probly give you the most variety

What venue are you getting married at? They typically allow you take bridals there.

    Some Ideas:
Avia hotels on market street, The waterway (behind grimaldi's), the Woodlands Country Club, Market Street (This would definately be in front of alot of people, but imagine how amazing the pictures would be... my photog did a shoot walking down the Strand in Galveston with a bride and the pics turned out great.. people will pretty much let you do what you want when your in a wedding gown)

(to view different parks by area)

It's all I can think of right this second.

thanks ladies! I'm actually getting married in South Padre Island, so getting the pics done at the venue is out of the question due to limited time until the wedding. I will have to get over stage fright and just do it.

Also, @asmcswain, were you able to find your dress?? I saw your posts a few weeks ago.

I have an appointment at Panache on Saturday... since I've been there for Prom they offered me 20% off EVERYTHING we get from there.  Hoping for success!! : )   Good luck on the bridals!

maybe try some hotel, I really love bridals i've seen done at Hotel ZaZa.. depends on what look you're going for. there are a lot of parks you can go to or there's a nice place in austin that has a more rustic feel. Also House of Blues, I have seen some neat bridal there also.

Most hotels will charge you a feel to shoot there unless you are having your event there. I am pretty sure AVIA charges a fee to shoot at their hotel as well.  You could also try Old Town Spring area or Tomball depending on the feel you are looking for

Do you want a more urban look like with buildings and such or a more natural feel? I live in Huntsville, so I know a few places in the Woodlands if  you would let me know what kind of look you want.
And now we are as one

I think it's North park on Lake Woodlands Dr. (where they hold the Dragon Boat Races) that I've seen some nice pics by the lake that might fit well since you are getting married at South Padre. I agree with Market Street- try a weekday after school starts back if possible- there are so many places to shoot there. There are rustic doors, a vine covered wall with a bench in front to sit on, the streets of course, etc.
