Having trouble finding Affordable reception venues!!! HELP!

Hi everyone!!

I'm having trouble finding something less than $10,000... I want to keep it more around $5,000, but I understand if I have to go up a little.

My ceremony will be in the Houston/Stafford area ... so it's very close to Sugarland, Katy, and Houston.

Anyone know of any good reception places? I've already looked at Sweet Water Country Club, Sugar Creek, and Cinco Ranch. Though Cinco Ranch is in the running unless I find something better.

I've looked at Tuscany Villa and the Villa Rinata, but they are way to expensive. And the Houstonian...

Ugh, I'm a frustrated Bride lol.

I'm expecting between 150 - 200 guests, but I may cut down due to costs.
Thanks!

  • Have you tried Signature Manor? It's not too from your ceremony location. How about The Gallery?

    We got married 11/3/12!!

  • I would say the Gallery too.  You bring in your vendors so that may help to save some money.
  • Why hello. :)

Have you considered George Ranch in Richmond? It sounds like it might fit your criteria - def under budget... (I got quotes for 150 guests)

if you are willing to go into the Woodlands / surrounding areas there are so many other options:
(such as Shepard Hill Estates - all inclusive venue - $9,800 and the only things they did not include were photographer, flowers, officient, security/bartender (but they have them both available for a total of $500) and it's BYOB)

also Belle Rose is another option which is closer to the $6-7K range:
