So I want to get this place hopping again.  Back when I first started (and rarelyt posted on this board) It was the place to hang out. I am sad to see it be an information only board.  So lets have a poll!

    What does FI do for a living? he is an enginerd (actually in Dallas)
    Born and raised Houstonian or got here as fast as possible? raised in Clear Lake, but graduated HS in Wimberley.  Getting married in College Station so Houston it was
    Will you live in H-town after the wedding? nope, FI has a job in Dallas. Still have lots of family and friends in Houston.

    Born and raised Houstonian or got here as fast as possible? Well, I was born in Pasadena, moved to Houston in 2006.

    Will you live in H-town after the wedding? Yep, I live on the Northwest side of town

    One awesome fact about yourself. This one is hard.  I guess the coolest thing is that I make fairy wings.

    On a side note...I am freaking out today! I just realized it is 19 days until my wedding.  I have so much to do!

    oakie! Its getting close! don't freak out things will be just fine and the best part is you will be married.

    Have you gotten your marriage license yet? I know you can now as you are within 30 days.

    I know...I'm not freaking out because I am nervous, I just have so many little things to finish.  It's hard when you have 2 jobs.

    We got our marriage license last week.  We had to go to the engaged encounter and it saved us $60.00 on the marriage license! :o)

    I make fairy wings, because, well, I never could find a pair that I really liked in the store.  (I dress up for the Ren Fest) So, I made my own from scratch. Several friends have recruited me....and it is my hobby. :o) The only bad thing, I hate to part with them. I am a hoarder. :op

    VERY close!!! We're doing a VR because we had a private ceremony in January. So I still wanted the whole "wedding" since I was already planning it. So for the "wedding" and reception. (I'd never say this on another board.)

    Will you live in H-town after the wedding? Yes, this is our home :) we couldn't imagine living anywhere outside of the greater Houston area. Besides, we have great jobs we would never leave behind.

    I'm really glad you feel comfortable saying it on this board! I don't understand why people over react about that on the other boards. I think it's great! Why shouldn't you have your wedding??? People are crazy :)

    I agree!  Some people on those other boards are crazy!  I never venture into the "dark side"

    Accounting... but currently between jobs. My company shut down in March so I have been on the search. I am eagerly waiting to find out about one job, and I have an interview tomorrow somewhere else!

    His day job- analyst at a Medical Software company. He is currently in school for architecture.

    Born and raised Houstonian or got here as fast as possible? Actually I am from Western New York (Buffalo area), moved down to LaPorte as a child, graduated in Pasadena, and now in Huntsville. lol.

    Will you live in H-town after the wedding? Chris is from Coldspring, so he can't handle "big city living". As he puts it, life is too short to live in Houston. Hoping to move somewhere outside the state.

    One awesome fact about yourself. I graduated from with my undergrad in three years, and will now have my Masters done at the age of 22. <-- Testament to my nerdiness.

    What does FI do for a living?:  Medical Student... in Ft. Worth.  Boo LDR.

    Will you live in H-town after the wedding?:  We'll actually be leaving Houston even before we get married, if all goes according to plan.
