The White House Ranch owner filed bankruptcy on Monday.  On Tuesday, all of the furnishings were removed.  My wedding is in two weeks, and I don't know if the gates will be open or not.

Have you called them? Contact them and figure out what is happening! I hope everything ends up okay. Keep us updated!

I emailed them about two or three months ago when I was still looking for a venue, I wanted to set up a time to look around but she said they were not accepting reservations. I wrote back asking if they werent accepting dates EVER or just right now and she never answered back. I found it very strange, and I guess this explains it. Good Luck! Im sure they will honor all exsisting contracts.

I just posted above for my friend.
The owner is in town. She went and met with him today....he's saying they are moving stuff back in. She's looking for a new venue right now though as she's really nervous about what he's promising.

Just a quick update.  I met with the owner today and they will be moving some stuff back in.

Is everything going to be the same? My wedding is I'n October and I'm freaking out now!!! Are they going to give deposits back?

I don't know if they will give you your deposit back or not.  You should call them!
