Recommend any florist who works from home?

I am starting my search for florists and I'd rather someone who works from home because I heard they work more with your budget which is pretty small in my case. Please let me know what you suggest. I wouldn't mind DIY'ing myself but honestly, I don't want the stress of doing it the day before and transporting it to the venue. I priced out my flowers at $400 but the time issue is too much. Any recommendations? Should I bite the bullet and DIY myself? Thanks.

I'm using Heather with Flower 2 Envy.  I'm sure she can work with your budget.  Just remember that the cost also depends on the type of flowers you want.  I just got my bouquet yesterday for my bridal portraits today and I couldn't be happier with it.  She is wonderful!

Not sure what area you're in but if you're in the south area (close to 45S) then I recommend Kroger on beltway 8/Sabo floral dept, the person who does the bouquets used to be in the wedding planning business and does a great job. You should visit her for a quote.

Several of my friends have used this person:

I'm not sure if she still works out of her home, but I believe she at least used to...

    Good luck!

Is it possible to let me know how much these ladies charge? And yes, yes, I know it depends on the TYPE of flower you get but still.... I want to know at least WHERE to come from. Thanks for the recomendations you've put up.

Not aware of any florists who work from home, but one thing to please keep in mind, that depending on what you are wanting as far as design and style goes, it may be a job that's too big for them to handle on their own.  Not sure what all you are wanting, but with centerpieces and large floral pieces, you need to make sure they have the appropriate vehicles to deliver them in to avoid damage to your flowers.

The best thing I can recommend is visit with some professional florists and be honest with what your budget it.  You'd be surprised how many companies will work with you if you are upfront and honest.  Good luck!

Don't be scared to check out grocery stores too. I got my flowers form a HEB in The Woodlands and they were my favorite thing about the whole day. I got everything for a steal and they delivered to my location out in the middle of nowhere Magnolia.

I'm using Heaven's Rain Floral Design. I would tell you my prices but they're for silk flowers and not real ones. http://heavensrain.net/

    Sabrina with Always Floral. www.alwaysfloral.com

For my bouquet, 2 BM bouquets, mens bouts, toss bouquet, mothers flowers, 12 centerpieces... it was less than $700. But I didn't have any expensive flowers either.

I am using weddings in bloom (highland village area) and for my bouquet, 3 BM bouquet, toss bouquet, 5 mens bouts she is only charing me 320. However, I am using only roses. My mom is making all of my centerpieces and we are getting those flowers from costco.

Heather from flowers to envy is doing all of my flowers, its a bit expensive because I have about 30 tables needing centerpieces and then I am using calla lilies which are expensive for the month of october.  So, my flowers are over 2.000 but i'm sure if you were using less expensive flowers it would be cheap.

    TO Brooklyn rocks
The ladies who did my flowers work out of their home and are budget friendly..

Also, I don't know if you are planning for Nigerian food but we had the BEST caterer for Nigerian food. Got TONS of compliments. I had to search high and low until I found someone who made good mass quantities of Nigerian food.
