I found out that my venue is double booked. I've already paid the deposit and made the 1st installment. Now I feel like I'm back to the beginning again. I've already booked a few other vendors for my date and I've already had to change my date once with 2 of them.

I've already had to change my date once due to a death in the family. Blah, I guess I'll be going to the BE for the 3rd freakin time so I can find a new venue.

I think I will serve drinks at my pity party later today.....Frown

    Your venue was double booked?  Maybe you should write a review about that since that's poor customer service. Hopefully you're getting money back and will find a better place, hang in there !

    I'm so sorry to hear this! I think the venue should not only help you find a new venue, but also share the cost in rescheduling all your vendors.

    That is horrible!! Did you book first? Doesn't matter if you booked first or second they should refund you all the money you gave them! They should be apologising to you constantly for the goof up they made! It wasn't your fault. Good luck with finding another venue. Will send good vibes your way.

    I'm so sorry. This is obviously very bad managing of their part and I also think you should post a review about them. They did return all your money right?

    I don't want to bash the venue owner. She hasn't been open very long. It was a mistake and I think she's learned from it. She just had way too much going on at once and I've seen that alot with vendors. I'm just going to move forward with finding another venue.

    Thank you ladies for all the good vibes. This may have happened for a reason, maybe it was the wrong venue.

    I will definately post when I've found a new venue.
