Hermann Park especially since Japanese Tea Garden is a pretty attraction

The Japanese Garden at Hermann Park doesn't allow weddings ... I looked into it!

I would recommend Marmion Park in the Heights.
I think the Rose Garden and Garden Center in Hermann Park allows weddings, but I would check on that.
Rob Fleming Park in The Woodlands.
Discovery Green would be really cool .. I've seen weddings there before.

There are probably others, I'll do some research and come back!

    Thanks to google...

Sam Houston Park & Houston Heritage Society
The Woodlands - Town Green Park
There are a ton more parks in the Woodlands. Check them out here.

These are less "park-y" but still outdoors .. sortof...
    Houston Arboretum & Nature Center
    The Houston Zoo
Cockrell Butterfly Center @ the Museum of Natural Science

The Houston Rose Garden is one that I know of, also the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center, have you tried those?

I'm looking for the same thing. Marmion Park allows weddings but NOT receptions.

    The hunt is on again!
