Maggiano's Reception

Any input on this place? It fits in our budget of under 6k and on a Saturday. My FI and I live out of town and haven't toured it in person, but plan to soon. I'd like to get feedback before we drive down to tour or possibly book

The place is delicious and the restaurant is beautiful (if you are referring to the one on Post Oak) ! :) If it fits your budget, it is certainly worth the drive. I've been to several business luncheons in their private room, and there is no thru traffic and their service is amazing. Definitely recommend :)

I haven't had a private reception there but FI have history at this place. It's where we had our first date back in 2002 and it's where he proposed a few months ago :) food is delicious and it has an expensive ambience without actually being expensive. In a fabulus area (across from the galleria) too. We will probably have our rehearsal dinner there. Would have had the reeption there if they weren't booked.

My sister and I threw our dad's 50th birthday there. We had about 70 people, 4 or 5 courses, we brough in our own wine and were charged a corking fee, also had an open bar for those that didn't drink wine. Ice tea, water and coffee were included.

We had a dj and a photobooth. We were there from 7(to decorate) party started at 8 and ended at 12 or 1, I don't remember.

Total we paid about $4k with tax and gratuity.

It truly is a great place to have a party of any kind. I did go to a wedding reception there and it was lovely. They used one room for the ceremony and another for the reception. It was about 50 people or so that attended.
