Introducing myself...

Helloooo my fellow Houston Knotties!

I just got engaged this past weekend (ELATED), and I look forward to all of your wisdom and experience. I was eyeing The Bell Tower on 34th and The Gallery for the longest and I was thinking about having my wedding at one of those places. If you guys have ANY info on pricing, experience, etc, PLEASE let me know! Thanks yall and congratulations to you all as well! xoxo

Congrats and welcome! I love both of those venues! If money were no issue, I would have definitely had my wedding at Bell Tower! They are somewhat expensive, but pretty much all inclusive. The Gallery can be inexpensive... because you bring in all of your own vendors. They just supply the facility, tables, and chairs. The rental rate is on their website. Good luck and happy planning!

    Thanks, tyboyd!

So The Bell Tower is all inclusive?

Yes, I think they are all inclusive. I went there over a year ago. But for the price that I remember being quoted... it should be all inclusive. When paying $20k+, NOTHING should have to be broght in.

I also checked out the Bell Tower when we were searching for a venue...but I remember them being on the high end price wise...and the location...not the greatest.  And they charge for EVERY single thing!  And if you want additional hours...they charge you per hour, per waiter, per bartender, per cop (Security), etc.  Definitely scratched that place off my list after visiting the first time.

Thanks, guys! Its absolutely beautiful because I LOVE the waterwall, but me and the fiance do not have that kind of a budget. So, im looking at The Gallery and Veranda by 17 (Alden Houston Hotel)? Its very pretty. Dont know the prices on that venue either, but Im trying to go for a outdoorsy ceremony w;/ chivalri chairs and a meditteranean feel. Having a peacock colored theme wedding. ;)

Ive been looking at their website just the past couple of days!! I definitely want to go see that venue because the pictures are beautiful! I would love any information you have! Are they expensive? Undecided . Me and my FI were talking last night about making getting second jobs because we don't know if family is helping yet. We were thinking June 2012 where he can be out of school (hes a school teacher), but im nervous that none of the venues I like will be open with dates!

I didn't think that they were expensive at all....compared to other places that I have seen. I am working with Ann and she is really helpful with things that I wasn't sure about. Email me at lizamaematthews@gmail.com and I will give you some more suggestions!
