3 inch heels?

I love shoes & have  spent considerable time the last few weeks looking at shoes for my wedding day.  I should probably be working on something else, like guest list...lol.

Anyway, would it totally be crazy to wear 3 inch heels with my dress?  I love heels but don't want to look like to vampish.  I am also 5'6 so don't want to look like some sort of gigantic bride.

Ladies....what kind of shoes are you planning on wearing?

I am just about 5'8 and I think my heels were nearly 4 inches, loved them and would wear them again

I am going with about a 3in heel so that FI is taller than me in the pictures. I would totally rock 5in if he didn't mind it!

I absolutely NEVER wear heels, but  I found the most amazing shoes with a 3" heel and HAD to wear them. I practiced and thought I was nuts, but the day-of I seriously never even felt them. LOL

You won't look vampirish! I'm 5'5" and with the heels I was basically my husband's height. pics looked good too

I normally rock 5-6 inch heels. I'm 5'6 and FI is 6'3 so I barely meet his chin anyway. For the big day, I haven't decided but definitely not doing anything super tall. I think 4 inches would be my highest just so I could walk on the uneven ground that my ceremony site has (See siggy pic below).

I would of loved to rock some 3+ inch heels, but my dress was too short for me to wear heels that size.  I wore 1 1/2 - 2 inch heels, which made my dress skim the ground perfectly... So definitely keep your dress in mind when picking heels also! Something I hadn't thought of! But wear what you love! It's your day!!

Outdoors in the grass- No fun if the ground is anywhere near soft-

my ceremony was outside on a lawn - i found 4-inch wedges that worked awesomely. plus, if your gown is floor-length, no one will see your feet and vampish is out of the question.

I'm 5'6" and I'm wearing 4in red stilettos! My dress would cost a bundle to hem because of the intricate beading, so I'm just going to be 5'10" on my wedding day! I don't think 3in heels are vampish, actually I consider those really low heels, lol.

I'm want to wear at least 4 inch heels just so my FI and I look a bit normal "height wise" together. I'm 5'3 and he's 6'3 so I NEED heels regardless lol Just hope I can walk in them all night!

Even if you do Have an outside wedding, there are little caps that snap on the heels that are clear, and they keep you from sinking. They are really cool, and they are not expensive.

I say go for it!!! Im 5'8 & my fh is 6'6...im wearing 4 in heels because they match the sparkly detail on my gown..i also have a pair of 3in heels on standby
