NICO photography review?

Anyone used NICO photography or Julie Wilhite? Any reviews would be wonderful!!! TIA!

Yep I used Julie Wilhite. I took Engagement pictures, boudoir pics, and she covered my wedding. I havent recieved my final wedding pictures- but I've been VERY happy with the pictures I have recieved.

i saw that huge booth for NICO at the bridal show but honestly i didnt even stop to look at them. I picked up 36 photographers information there! As for Julie, I wanted to book her but her sister is getting married on my wedding day

NICO is a company that Tomas Ramos started up.  I don't know how I feel about them yet, as it appears they may be the next Evoke Photography?  Not sure...they've partnered up with A & A Video, and I DO love A&A Video.  Nothing bad about NICO, but just don't know enough yet to makea judgement call.

I was wondering the same thing because the combo prices they have with A&A are very reasonable...and from what I saw at the BE A&A work is great

I've talked to both Nico and Julie. They both have unique work to offer i  think but is overpriced.  Has anyone heard of Dreams Innovations. Their prices seem to be very reasonable, but haven't heard about them yet....

We used NICO and were not pleased at all with the results.  They are very expensive, and get in the way during the wedding.  All of our family photos have multiple heads chopped off.  No artistic pr photojournalistic quality - save yourself the expense.

I used KimberlyBrookePhotographic for my B-pics, but I think she also previously worked with Julie Wilhite, so I think they may have similar styles.

I know she does weddings too.

btw... I loved my B-Pics!  She did an amazing job!

A&A Video was absolutely GREAT!!! We also chose the Cinematography package and could not be any happier with the end result. They paid attention to the details and captured things in the video that we thought were amazing. Now when it comes to Nico Photography!!! That is a COMPLETELY different sittuation.  When we showed up for our first photoshoot, the staff didn't even realize they were supposed to be taking our picture that day.  We were sent with some unprofessional individual, who's picture taking was worst than my 5 year old niece.  We told them we hated them.  So they set us up for another photoshoot which the photographer was late to. It was very hot outside and we were sweating and were concerned that pictures would not be great, but we were told they use photoshop.  Needless to say when we got those pictures back we were not impressed!!! Then the wedding pictures.......They were not great quality.  Dropped off the CD with the pictures we chose and they have taken months and we still don't have our album back. They have told use lies and have been quite unprofessional.  I will NEVER recommend that you use NICO PHOTOGRAPHY!!!  If so be prepared for a NIGHTMARE!!!!!

DO NOT USE NICO PHOTOGRAPHY! Which has now changed their name to Tomas Ramos. They are horrible to work with!! After conversations with several of their unorganized, unprofessional and rude staff I was left in tears!!! We have canceled our contract with them, lost our $1,000+ deposit and will be spending the extra money to find a different photographer! Not a good experience!!
