Wedding Venue 400-500 ppl

I have looked high and low for a wedding venue with an indoor outdoor space

We eneded up with Cocomar.  But trying to book the date has been quite frustrating with them and red flags seem to be popping up

Are there any recs for venues that can hold that many ppl in the greater Houston area?

If we cant get an outdoor area for the ceremony, any venues that are a bit different and or unique outside of a hotel ballroom?

The houstonian has an outdoor spot on their front lawn and they have their grand ballroom that would fit that many people. Also- the HMNS is a unique venue and I think could hold that many people.

Now that I have booked my wedding, I'm happy to share my venue with anyone: the Wortham Theater Center. They have a Grand Foyer that will easily fit 1000 people seated. It's large but with the right decorator, it won't seem too big. Also, since it is a City of Houston building, it is extremely budget friendly.  The only challenge for us was finding a date when a production company had not already booked the theater. It ended up working out perfectly for us as we got the date that we wanted.

Also, there's a beautiful waterfall outside of the theater, with a gazebo, where you could have an outdoor wedding, and then allow your guests to go inside for the the cocktail hour/reception

And I just remembered that my wedding planner has a venue: Signature Manor. it is awesome and extremely budget friendly!

I looked at the Wortham Center and also thought it was a very intriguing and interesting space!  Best wishes to you!  Too bad my fiance was not interested - he is much more traditional than I am....Houston First Theaters and Houston First Outdoors had several interesting spaces available.

What were the rates on the Grand Foyer in the Wortham Center?
