CHEAP and easy

Hey Ladies,
I am getting married on December 18, 2010 and I am currently having my wedding at the U of H main campus chapel. I am wondering if anybody knows some reception locations around that area or only 15 to 30 minutes away from that location...I am on an EXTREMELY tight budget do not underestimate how tight and am looking for a location that is under $1,000. So basically a place that I am not required to have a dinner or anything there but is still nice, it can be located at a church and what not? I am just looking at every possibility!

    I am having my ceremony there on a Sunday and then having the reception at Brady's Landing which is loacted at 610 & 225. I am doing mine from 2-7 and since it is lunch hours, there is no food and beverage minimum. I think for the 125 guests I am planning I was quoted around 2,000.

    I would suggest looking there and seeing if they have any openings? They have several banquet rooms and majority of the staff is a pleasure to work with.
