Amount spent on Wedding decor/flowers?

Wanted to know what any of the brides out there paid for their total amount of wedding decor and flowers for their reception.

    The flowers, linens, and centerpieces are included in the reception package so I'm not sure how much is allocated. But we have to decorate the church. I set a budge of $1000 for WP & flowers for the stage. Hopefully this is enough.

    I'm not sure on the decor because a lot of it was given to me. My cousin got married last fall so she gave me a lot of her (very expensive) things. We are spending 1,200 on flowers. Most of that is for bouquets and other personal flowers, but we do have a few small floral centerpieces in there.

    Misc: $350 (chargers, table numbers, picture frames, etc)

    You need to base your budget on what you can afford - if someone had no flowers their budget will be different then someone who did. If one bride as 100 guests their budget will likely be different than a bride who had 300 guests. (more tables to decorate) Also different flowers fall into different price points too.

    Talk to diferent floral/decor companies tell them what you want and see what fits your budget

    The only real flowers in my wedding was my bouquet, DH's boutainnaire, and the flowers on our sweetheart table.

    I don't mean this to sound rude, but we didn't see the point of spending $1000 on something that was just going to die... We felt that for us that money could be invested somewhere else since we had such a budget wedding. I DIY'd a lot of our decor, but I think that with rentals, we spent maybe around 200.00 for all of our centerpieces and such.

    But much like Eboix said, it all depends on the image you want for your wedding, so our personal estimates could be completely off...
    And now we are as one

    We're spending $1,700 on flowers. This includes all the centerpieces and ceremony decorations, along with the bouquets and boutonnieres.

    Spending $600 on linens and other table decorations and nick knacks (table numbers, napkins, etc)

    We're expecting about 200 guests for our wedding.
