I confess that I have been off the pill for 1 month now, and LOVE IT. We are NOT ttc, but I just wanted to feel like myself again. Which in fact I do. Its like I got my groove back or something!

I also confess that I have enjoyed going out alone with friends and such again. I have been in our cave/home being "mom" and such and always too tired to go enjoy myself. I'm glad to be back and full of energy. I do however miss FI when he is not able to join me, sometimes.

I confess I want to really TP DH he has been a whiny man lately. He is not dealing with my new changes that well. He is such a girl!

So I quit my job at the end of May to work with FI and be his assistant and I confess I'm really nervous about this decision. I'm getting my MBA right now, so I'm wondering if that was a total waste, but I've met some amazing people, though I'm unsure how I can really use it to advance my career.

Perfect day for confessions!

I am about to lose my mind and have had it with certain people in my life. The main culprit being one of my bridesmaids. When I was her bridesmaid, I made sure everything was about her and went through a lot of trouble throwing her a shower and a bachelorette party. I fully expected her to reciprocate. She has shown no interest in my wedding - which I can excuse since it is a bit far away. The biggest problem I have is that she never bothers to call/text/email me. I am always the one reaching out to her, and sometimes when I do, she doesn't even bother to answer. For example, how hard is it to shoot an email or text to say, "I'm sorry I'm busy, but I will get back to you as soon as i can". It 's just so discourteous!

While I am on this rant, I realized that it isn't just her but many people in my life. It feels like I put in all the effort with so many of my relationships. I'm tired and done with it!

Last confession - I am on the pill but missed my period 2 months in a row now. I took 2 pregnancy tests (both negative). Apparently (according to the doctor) it is normal on this pill brand, but it is driving me nuts!

On pills like Yaz, or similar to it, yes you do miss periods or have lighter ones. I was on it for a while too, but I just had to quit with the hormones.
Sorry about your BM and others not showing interest, but sometimes it takes a big event to see who you should keep by your side.

I know exactly what you mean about putting your all into relationships and people not reciprocating the effort. I have been feeling like that for the past week because I have  been trying so hard to get stuff together for the summer but nobody has the courtesy to help me make it work.

My confession is that I kicked my oldest sister out of my wedding party and I am really happy with my decision. I was worried before that she would ruin my wedding and my recent family vacation proved that when she is in the picture, she has to be the center of attention. I however am keeping my other sister in the wedding party and could care less what my oldest sister thinks. I am the baby in the family and because of her I had a horrible childhood and adolescence because she messed up in every way possible, and I refuse to let her destroy my wedding.

Humpf. I feel a little better.

mtsookasem - i totally understand your BM issues! i had that EXACT same issue with some of mine. i found some relief in spending time with other friends who genuinely cared about my wedding and wanted to help with planning. some people just push away when you get married - it's weird.

i confess that i have super super house fever right now. it's driving DH crazy because financially we just aren't in a situation we can afford to move out. but har.com is just so addicting!!
