Little details

What little things/details did you include in your wedding?? Everyone talks about the little things "sneaking up on you" and I kinda feel out of the loop! lol

    1. Don't forget to budget for postage. Between STDs (if you're doing them), invites, then the RSVPs in the invites, and thank you cards, postage starts to add up quickly.

    2. If you are putting anything in your bouquet, don't forget to give that to your florist. Same thing goes with your cake (flowers, your topper, etc.). I only mention this because you would be surprised by how many people forget.

    3. Get things like your programs, etc. out of the way early. You don't want to be up the night before your wedding trying to put those together. Same thing goes for favors.

I'm drawing a blank at the moment, but I'll post more when I think of them.

Not caring about missing RSVPs because there aren't any rocks!

I didn't realize how expensive limos were until now. So we're renting an Expedition and having florist decorate the hood, it's $295/weekend.

Some little details that I spent a lot of time on in the month before were...

    - the guestbook
    - programs
    - wording of the ceremony
    - music played at the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (especially those key moments)
    - gifts for the wedding party
    - making a card box/sign for card box
    - decorating our exit "vehicle"

I'm sure there are more .. I kindof obsessed on the details...
