small wedding/small budget

we are having a small wedding, about 50-60 people are being invited. im leaning towards having my reception at a nice resturant, like sambuca or something like that. Any other suggestions? i need to find a ceremony venue too? and i want something outside. im from the kingwood area. HELP!

Try Brady's Landing. I think they have some packages for that small. We are going to check it out next weekend for their open house and are sooooo excited. The prices are great!

Does it matter what part of town?

For small venues, you may try:
    • St. James Courtyard
    • Marimon Park (Ceremony) w/reception at Heights Fire Station
    • Ouisie's Table
    • Small hotels (Hilton Garden Inn)
    • Marriott Courtyards
    • Alden Hotel
    • Sara's Bed & Breakfast
    • Sycamore in the Heights Bed & Breakfast
    Hope that helps you some!

I am having my reception at Brady's Landing and their prices are awesome. They are located in the Pasadena area, so I don't know if that is too far. I live in Huntsville and am having my ceremony and reception because the prices are just so much better in a big town than a small town.

Brady's Landing has numerous banquet rooms and have several different menu options. Most nights they have a food/beverage minimum, but if you have a reception during the day (like I am) there is no minimum. But what is really awesome, is that you don't pay for rental of the facility, you just pay for the food.

I had numerous high school events there (banquets and military balls) so I know quite a bit about the plae.
And now we are as one

I'm getting married at The Woodlands Resort.  My room (the vista) is max 100 people, max 80 with a buffet.  I'm from Kingwood also so I like how accesible it is to me.  They also have a room called The Glass that's max 140 but it is all windows on one side looking out on the lake.  I would have booked that room if it wasn't already booked.  They also include the cake, linens, dinnerware, and centerpieces in the price.

I just noticed you said Kingwood.  That's a bit far from us.  Sorry about that.
