    try a cold spoon over the eye for a while. (on/off for about an hr everyday)
    warm teabags to help with swelling too.
    and if the day of he still has a black eye- buy bobbi brown's "secret of to the universer" (ithink thats what its called) to cover it up.
    DONT LET HIM RUB IT!

    Aww... my fiance had a black eye when we met. I thought it was rather cute, but I can totally get why it would concern you.

    Maybe have your makeup artist airbrush him. A lot of guys get it for tattoo coverups.
