Need Wedding Fitness Bootcamp referrals!

Has anyone done a Fitness Bootcamp?  I searched online and there are several around Houston. I just wanted to see if anyone has done one? Was it worth it? Successful? Expensive?  Please let me know which bootcamp you did and if you recommend it. Thank you!

I did Houston Area Adventure Bootcamp.

I did it back in April.  I thought it was well worth the money.  I went with the 3 day a week for 4 week option.  It was $199.  We met at Spotts Park in the Heights but there are several locations to choose from.  The workouts were really good and I definetely left each one "feeling it"  Because I couldn't really pay 200 every month to keep doing it, I wrote down the workouts each time and now I do them with a friend.   The good thing is that there were people of all ability levels there so everyone could push themselves to their own limits. The instructor was also great.  Kat was her name.  She was very encouraging but didn't yell at us like a drill sargeant.  Good luck!

Did you lose weight by doing this bootcamp?  If not, what type of results did you see or did you just "feel it"?

I did Texas Bootcamp.(texasbootcampllc.com)  It has locations all around houston.  I loved it.  The only reason I stopped was because of a car accident (hurt my back).  I love it! It was 180 for the first month (I think you can get a 20 percent off if its your first time also), but they have classes 6 days a week and you can go to as many classes as you want... the every month after the first month is only 90 dollars.. and you can still go to any class.. I got great results along with eating right I lost about 28 pounds.. definitely go check it out!

I didn't really do it to lose weight but more to tone up. I'm happy with my weight.  I wish I had some hard numbers for you about weight loss.  I will tell you that they incorporate both cardio and strength training into the program so I think its a win-win situation.  I'm feeling great and have been happy with my progress.  Good luck!

It's not a bootcamp, but there is a new weight loss clinic with amazing results in The Woodlands. I wish that I had known about it prior to my wedding because I've lost 90 lbs since the beginning of Feb. Now I feel like I need to plan a whole other wedding so that I can have new slimmer pictures. It's called Healthy Figures. 281-419-7222 if you're interested.
