changing date of wedding. Need a new photographer! HELP!!!

So we already booked a photographer and put a deposit of 350 down... but because my fiance didn't know his sister has a final exam on the day we had picked for our wedding, we have to change our date! The photographer we chose is booked all of the other possible dates we have for the wedding.  which means she will be doing our engagement but we have to find another photographer for the day of and for my bridals (since I am taking them at the venue where the wedding will be, I prefer for the DAY-OF photographer to do this session so they can get familiar with the setting).
Since I am losing out on this money, I would really like to find a photographer who is amazing but is also budget-friendly... Do you guys have any ideas?  PLEASE HELP!!!!!

My advice is regarding the final exam.  It seems like a hassle to have to change everything around because of an exam, so I suggest asking the professor if your sister can take the final exam on another day.  Some professors will let you take the exam earlier depending on the circumstance.  Doesn't hurt to ask.  If that doesn't work, I suggest looking of Costas Stergiou.  He's my photographer, does amazing work, and is very reasonably priced.  Link is below.

I agree on getting her to beg to move the exam....

BUT the photographer I used for my engagements does weddings for REALLY cheap and her work is great. She's out of San Antonio I think but she definitely travels (she met us in Austin for some great downtown shots!!)

    It's Azini Photography

good luck with the exam thing!

I agree with those above, changing the date because of sister's exam ?  I sure wouldn't do it.

I also agree. Professors can usually be accomodating, especially if the student asks WAY in advance.

My photographer is super budget-friendly: SB Image Studios.

Sorry I have no photographer suggestions. I think the professor would be understanding and be able to have her take the exam on a different day.  It is silly to move the date of your wedding for one exam. Well, unless she was taking the BAR or something equivalent.

She should try to move the exam. It shouldn't be a problem if she asks now.

My friend's husband had to take his finals early because his sister got married the day after the end of finals, and he had to travel from CO to MN to be at her wedding.

Heck, my friend asked to take her mid-terms a week early this semester because her and her husband are going to Rio for Carnival. Her professors are ok with it.

I would see if she could talk to her instructor as well.

If that isn't possible, I am like totally in love with my photographer. We clicked very well. Their pictures are absolutely beautiful. We got 6hrs wedding day coverage, 100 photo cards for STD or Thank You cards, 18x20 print, engagement session, and cd with printing rights for right at $1000. I think the prices have went up to $1,200 since then, but I still think that is still a really good price. She also has a really great payment plan. If you are interested, let her know Lanie sent you.

Good luck with everything! I hope it works out well!
