Bell tower is gorgeous, however their pricing is ridiculously high.  I was quoted $30k for only a 4 hour reception + cocktail hour.  I would have loved to hold my reception there but it's not in budget for me.

wow! that's good to know. that would definately not be in my budget for just the reception. thanks so much! I am also looking in to the petroleum club of houston which is so gorgeous and the price seems really good too

I am going to look at the petroleum club tomorrow!  The pictures look very nice and I hear the view is to die for!

exciting!! Let me know how it goes! I havent been there myself I have just seen pictures and reviews.the view IS to die for from what i've seen! but a knottie sent me the pricing information which seems very reasonable. goodluck!

I love the Bell Tower on 34th but yes, the price is a little crazy for me.  My girlfriend had her wedding there & it was almost $40,000.  I know her wedding was memorable but I think that I would rather use that kind of money for a down payment on a house....lol.

yeah I was quoted about $35K for 200 guests. the venue itself is gorgeous, but the surrounding area is a little sketchy. just something to think about. good luck!   i've never been to petroleum club, but i know plenty of people who have attended weddings there, and they all had nothing but good things to say about the place.

@jen2013 - I had my wedding at the petroleum club - I posted a slideshow in the post below "Petroleum Club' if you wanna see pics - it's 8 min and the reception pics start about half way thru.  The petroleum club was just amazing - I could go on and on about them!

My wedding is at the Bell Tower in a  few weeks. We never came close to $35k!??
We decided on a Friday evening ceremony and reception which cut the cost down. Considering how beautuiful this place is if we can afford a Friday wedding more comfortably then thats what we do! Granted we have about 115 people not 200 however we also used other vendors for cake,dj, and flowers. It is possible to have a wedding there for under $20k because we are and the ceremony starts at 7:30 and reception ends at 12am! If you have your heart set on this place there are ways to get the costs down to something a little more reasonable. If you want more info PM me.

Though it is pretty it is not worth the money. I had two friends get married there. Thy only offer their vendors, and food sucks! Living in Houston I know their are many hotels, venues, resturants, and places to hold your wedding at your budget. It was pretty, but nothing that incredible.
