Officers at Wedding? (Montgomery County)

Does anyone know if we are required to hire police officers at a wedding in Montgomery County? Our venue states that we do NOT, that this only applies to weddings in Harris and other counties. I just want to verify so I don't have the cops running in during my reception! :)

    Your venue will let you know the specific stipulations. If they say no, I would think you are in the clear. It is their liabiliy, not yours, so I am sure they are telling you the truth.

    Depending on the venue, I think you can hire them privately. My FI is a Montgomery County Deputy. I will talk to him about how they normally do it!
