Majestic Metro

I have booked the Majestic Metro for both our ceremony & reception.  SmileAny advice from brides who have used this venue?

Re: Majestic Metro

I've never been there but I've heard that this place is really nice. I've seen pictures myself and I thought it was nice and very different. Me myself is having an issue trying to find the right  venue. A venue that I love and that my groom can agree with. How much are you spending for ceremony and reception at the Majestic Metro, if you don't mind giving that information out.

I'm paying $5485 for a Saturday.  That includes DJ, 1 security, tables, & chairs.  They are very flexible (outside catering & beverages) with very few restrictions.  A high degree of customization and outside catering was a must for me.

I also looked at the Heights Theater.  It would've been my second choice.  It also had a very high degree of customization and allows you to bring  in your own vendors.  It is a art gallery during the day so the decor is already included.  They also had very interesting ideas for seating plans.  The price point was much lower (around $2400), but it did not include as much (no tables, no DJ, etc.)

I looked at Rockefeller Hall.  It was nice, but not my taste.  I considered The Gallery, but never got the opportunity to tour it.  I had my 25th birthday aboard one of Starfleet Yacht's boats and would recommend them if you are interested in a seaside/boat event.  For a smaller event, I would recommend the Heights Firehouse.  It was also on my list of possibilities since I had my sweet 16 there.
