I'd move the whole thing 2 hours later, and move the dance floor to a different spot. other than that, nothing.

I loved our wedding. But I would change a bunch if I could do it again.

I'd keep the outdoor ceremony - but I'd love to have an outdoor and relaxed outdoor reception (think large floral chuppah w. a tented reception). I would have loved for their to be more people & do it on like a Saturday afternoon in early spring. I would stay with a similar color palette- but maybe bring in some more pink. And I would have gotten a band instead of just a DJ.

i think ive said this before...i wouldnt have bought my dress so fast (1 trip, 5 dresses, i was done with it). i loved it and all....but i didnt like cry or anything when i found it...i watch say yes to the dress all the time and i cant help but feel like there was probably something out there more me. i also probably wouldve taken more pictures outside, but we were tryin to beat the rain. other than that, i really loved my wedding day

I would have gotten a different bouquet for my BMs I did not like what they got. I would have mingled with more people. Take a pictures alone with certain people (step dad, sister, nieces, etc.). Also, rent a limo. After the ceremony we went to go take pictures and our caravan as so long people got lost. Bad idea!

Other than those little things. We had so much fun!

I really loved everything about my wedding. The things I would change would just be more ways to remember it .. I wish I had gotten a videographer because I didn't get to hear ANY of my cocktail hour music and I had a string quartet which played all songs that are special to DH and I didn't get to hear any of it! I got misty eyed just hearing the processional, the song i walked to, and our recessional and just really would have loved to hear more and be able to re-watch the day!! Also I would have told my photographer to take more pictures with my nephews, I only have like 2 pictures with them!

I maybe would have added some uplights at our reception, would have liked some more photos outside but it was too damn windy and would have liked a later wedding but having it at the church that wasn't possible, so I was fine with that since I loved the Church. oh and I wouldn't have forgotton my bra lol All in all I would go back and do the whole day over again exactly the way we did it, those things listed were pretty minor =)

I feel the same way I posted this on my FB & on another post:
I commented on my FB I felt rushed when I tried my dress on I knew it was the one but I didn't cry, I wasn't jumping up & down, nor did I have a camera to take pictures, most women plan this I called that morning and happened to get an appointment, that my girls were super excited over BUT I did know deep down this was/is the one. (I think) NO I know it's the one.

I would of begged to get to the reception area earlier and moved the timeline up. (arrive/hair/makeup) So we would of had more time for photos. I could of gotten more of what I wanted. Or I should of called photographer and told her to follow us to our hotel since I had her for another hour. She could of taken some photos in the hotel lobby. I didn't get a single picture of the DH in his uniform by himself like I wanted. We didn't have enough time.

Though I'm thinking of doing a photo shoot of him in uniform and a TTD. We shall see.

I'm with Kcon. I would have moved up my ceremony because DH and I only got a handful of pics together.

I also would have waited for my photog to finish eating before going from table to table. I REALLY wanted pics with each table but you are in such a timeschedule that we didn't get to do that.

I would not pay for extra seats since so many people RSVP'd and didn't show, there would have been plently of room for those that didn't RSVP and did show.  I would extend the reception an hour.  I would double checked the centerpieces (they were not at all what I had in the picture I gave, but they were still subtle like I wanted...just not as full of flowers and water).  I would consider another photographer (not that they were bad, but just not exactly what I wanted), and definitely another dj.  I would have made myself remember to look at the camera man when we were walking out of the ceremony...oops...oh well.

I would like to have taken more intimate pictures with DH... He was being cranky pants, with good reason because it was 95 degrees outside but he was also pissed because my paternal grandparents showed up late and my gma went up to him and started talking to him in Spanish and he doesn't speak Spanish but understands it.

I would have had more flowers as centerpieces but it wasn't in the budget since I had lost my job right before the wedding.

I would have loved to have mingled more and gotten pics with every one but it was a whirlwind of a night.

5 pm. which, if it had been about 10 degrees cooler, wouldn't have been such a bad thing. but the night before, at the rehearsal, we were all talking about how nice the weather was once the sun set, so 7 pm would have been a better start time. however, we made it 5 pm because a) there were a bunch of older folks attending, and they still left early, and b) we wanted to go ahead and end the reception so we could get to our hotel room asap because we had a 5 am flight the next day.

I am with you on the paying for people who RSVPed and did not show.  I was so worried about not having enough seats that I payed for 10 extra on top of our 100 and there were so many empty seats.  Family's who RSVPed 4 did not show up, amongst many others.  I also would have 1) allowed more down time- we were so rushed for everything and the wedding started at 7. 2) I would have payed the extra money to have the make up girl come to us instead of saving a few bucks for us going to her.  I also did not remember very much and I really really was trying to remember everything.  I am still waiting for the video (we got married May 15th- is that strange)?

I would have been more detailed with my florist. I hated my bm's flowers, oh and splurged on the videographer.

JMO, reminds me you need to see my video ;)

i would have taken more pictures with friends and dh inside. Also i would have done all the centerpieces hydrangaes instead of some tulips and some calalilys, the hydrangaes looked fuller and nicer.
