Venue help

Hi everyone, new here.   I see its a popular post but I am really having an budget problem.  I am open to a friday wedding but my budget for the ceremony and reception costs is around $5,000 as me and my fiancee are paying for it ourselves.  We are the conroe/woodlands area- willing to travel to houston, montgomery, willis, huntsville... basically anywhere an hour around us.  Im going for a rustic theme; my dream place is Amber Springs but they are 5,000 just to rent the facilities and with our budget we need alcohol and food to be included in that price.

Ps. We are open to DIYing but we have ruled out heights firestation (fiancee doesnt like the location)

Thanks so much!

  • Hello, how many people are you planning on having? If you aren't having a large wedding you should look into Huntsville State Park. They have a very cute rustic lodge right on the lake that I have been to some phenomenal weddings at. I think it is just a few hundred dollars to rent it for an entire day.
And now we are as one

  • I have heard about that place, but im having 80 people so I dont think that would quite work.  Looks like it would be a great place for around 50 though.

  • Check out Heather's Glen... they have some packages that are not listed on their website. It's in conroe! :)

  • Try Oak Tree Manor. I think they may be within your budget, especially if you are willing to do a lot of DIY. It is in Spring and has a gorgeous Oak Tree that can be the backdrop for the ceremony.

Plus, its smaller so maybe they can work within your budget.

    Good luck!

You should take a look at www.TownHallTexas.com.  5 miles east of The Woodlands mall.  Rustic/western venue, 10 acres, 3,000sqft barn, 1.5 acre pond - 2 outdoor ceremony sites (1 is located on an island in the middle of the pond (seats up to 150).  $6,498 for up to 100 guests for all day Saturday or $5,498 for up to 50 guests. They are flexible and can work with you on the rate, etc.  Good luck!
  • Try Signature Manor. Beautiful location and budget friendly.
