Annoying inlaws advice

My fiance's in laws are annoying us both. We are almost 30 years old and getting married soon and we can't even take a day trip without them calling us to check in. If my fianc doesn't answer they will then call ME! And they will call repeatedly until we answer. Sometimes we just want to be left alone and treated like the adults we are. They will call to see of we are safe, what time we are coming home, and what we are doing. My fianc already told them to please stop and they still continue. Any advice on how to fix this?

    I don't think you can.  It sounds like that's just how they are, and even though you and your FI are both almost 30, to your parents you're always going to be their little kids, KWIM?

    If I were you, when I wanted private time, I'd simply turn off my phone and let it be.  If they question you about it or pull a fit, simply tell them the truth - that you wanted some uninterrupted quiet time.  You're under no obligation to answer every phone call and text.  Eventually they'll get the message.

    If they're asking what time you're coming home, that sounds like you live with them.  If that's the case, maybe you should consider moving out?

    Funny you say that...I suprisingly don't live with them they are just THAT rediculous! My fiance does still live at home but I live in my own place.
