So I am getting married at a church and I met with the priest and we have our date all set and squared away for us to get married in the church. My question is am I supposed to be in touch with the church soon to discuss the whole wedding? Or are they supposed to get in touch with me closer to the wedding? I am getting married in July. Help? TIA! :)

    My minister wanted to start talking about the arrangements for my Sept 16th wedding in early May.  I'm not sure if your priest would have a different proceedure though.  I would probably check with the church to see what their standard meeting schedule is.
