New York Lace – B
My consultant, Faustina was pretty helpful when finding my gown. I had my eyes set on a satin ball gown and she nailed it when she found the lace modified a-line for me. I felt like a winner on my wedding day. My BMs all got their gowns there, as well as my mom. The ordering and purchasing was easy. Alterations, not so much. Everyone went in at least twice for alterations, and on the wedding day, my bustle snapped after one slow dance. I had my gown held up with safety pins – hott stuff. J Faustina was awesome the whole way through until my last fitting when she told me she was too busy with brides (new business) than to help me two days before my wedding. I was put off, because I was a bride too. I deserved the same respect and care that the new brides did. One way or another, my bridal party looked great and my gown was absolutely beautiful. I’d recommend with caution. Be on top of their alterations department.
Salon Ambiance, Fall River, MA - A+
They are a full service salon. I had my facial, threading, nails, makeup and hair done here as well 11 other people's hair and makeup on day of. Ana did awesome on my nails. She also did about 5 other people in wedding party and everyone was raving about the quality. Our makeup artist, Danielle also did my facial and threading earlier in the week. She is top notch and all of our makeup stayed. Plus, she is funny. A big plus. We had all four stylists on day of, Kerry, Lucy, Dawn and Stacy. They all had 3 people to style and we were done in no time. Everyone's hair stayed impeccable other than mine, but that is because my nephew (who's a year old) grabbed on tight and pulled at the end of my reception. I asked the girls to do loose, flowy updos to the side and each girl looked different but coordinated. They looked amazing. My hair - it was more than I imagined. I recommend this salon wholeheartedly. They hit the ball out of the park.
Almeida’s Floral Design, Fall River, MA – A+ with a sticker on top
Best decision ever. They hit the nail on the head when it came to my florals and truly made me feel at ease. I never once questioned their talent, but I had a vision and I wanted someone to step in my head to view it. They did. Armanda and Guida knocked my socks off. We had these 8 tall curly willow arrangements with all kinds of roses, hydrangea, lisianthus, and tons of different greens and they hit the nail on the head. My bouquet and all the bouquets were perfect. The centerpieces were great. They accommodated my insane request of adding curly willow to my bridesmaid’s bouquets and achieved everything I wanted them to. I did spend a heck of a lot of money, but for what I got it was way worth it! I’d recommend them with push in their direction. They can do anything!
Grace Lou Events, Stoughton, MA – A+
Adrienne and Liz were an amazing addition to our wedding day. They did SO MUCH as my DOCs, I cannot even list it all. They even attended my rehearsal and got comfortable with my wedding party. My bustle came apart quickly and MacGuyver with a needle, aka Liz quickly fixed it and sewed it up. They were always available to me and my bridal party, and that was a comfort. They also had the job of setting up all ball room décor and did so exceptionally. I cannot wait for my pro pictures to see it all again. They were amazing. I would recommend without reservations.
Princess Limo, Fall River, MA – A+
We rented the Cadillac Escalade, Tandem. It was huge and very nice. It fit my monstrous wedding party well and the driver was early both to my husband’s family home and mine. The driver, Mike, was very nice, helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone who needs a limo. For the size of the car we rented, the price was right, too!
Ideal Limo, New Bedford, MA – A+
Absolutely loved our classic car – a Packard. It was air conditioned, which was wonderful on that super hot Saturday and it was really worth it. We felt special when we arrived to the church and I found their prices reasonable. My Best Man accidentally left our marriage certificate in the car and I promptly received a call from the owner letting us know it was safe for pick up at his office. He would’ve mailed it but did not want to damage it. I loved that! Recommend fully.
A Village Photo and Video, Fall River, MA – A+ (video pending)
George is great. He was very out the picture all day and I rarely noted his presence. He did some creative things and I cannot wait until I get my video. He was reasonably priced and I would definitely recommend him.
David Bibeault Photography, Lincoln, RI – A+, pending photos
Dave’s hit it out of the park. I was a little nervous, because I am a little high strung and he is laid back. Ok. I am VERY high strung and he is super laid back. His personality fit well with my husband, and I wanted to see fit that my husband, a shy guy, was comfortable. I am not in any way worried about my photos. He and his two assistants were constantly snapping away and coming up with new and interesting pictures. I am so anxious to see these pictures. He did exceptionally well with our engagement photos, so I have no doubts in my mind. I would absolutely recommend him.

James Murphy Photography, Warwick, RI – A+
Our engagement pictures at Scarborough Beach in Narragansett were amazing. Jim and his wife Tana are a great team. We have a bunch of the photos around our home. I’d recommend him fully, as both a portrait and wedding photographer. He was wonderful along side DB and my husband said he came up with some great shots with all the guys.

Tana is amazing at what she does and made me feel amazing. I do believe I was one of her first clients in her new business venture, and truly, the results do not show it! I swear that I will do these again with Tana. She's a gem.
Venus de Milo - A
This was an easy choice for me. My parents and my brother were both married here and the service was always impeccable. From the food (that soup!) to the service, everything was great day of and before. We rented the ivory floor length linens and napkins from them and they were a beautiful accent to the tables. Marissa in their office was a great help and was very understanding when I wanted to change the layout a couple of times. They are a very honest location and even refunded our family the money that was overpaid. It was a nice little bonus at the end of the night. For soup alone, they'd be recommended and clearly, for everything else as well. I loved our head table waitresses, Ann and Jennifer. They put up with my wedding party gracefully and helped me out a couple of times when I needed a vendor's attention. I'll never forget their names, because that is my MIL and SIL's names! The only reason it didn't get a 100% was the noisy wedding in the ballroom next door.
