Some advice for brides-to-be

Welcome to the RI board! We are a wonderful group of ladies! Here are some hints to help you out: If you are about to post something (question wise), please just look in the last page or two. We have ALOT of new brides on here recently, and its probably been asked a few times. Not trying to be snarky, just trying to help!

A fellow Knottie created a website filled with TONS of information like how to create a siggy, what do all the abbreviations mean, and much more. It also includes "Our Big Days" list so you can see all of the soon-to-be brides on the Rhody board. Please take the time to check it out! Here's the link: https://sites.google.com/site/401knotties/Home
As always, please let me know if you need anything!

hi! any ideas where i can find some ceremony sites in the east greenwich/warwick/north kingstown area? our reception is at quidnessett and they don't do ceremonies on the weekends...goddard park is already booked so we are trying to find a ceremony site! any help would be greatly appreciated :)

That would be helpful advice except it is difficult to do a search on the boards.  My searchs often automatically take me to a general search - I just want to search RI!

The search piece has been a little off ever since they did the switch to the newly formatted knot.
I mentioned scrolling down the current page or even the previous page.
People never mind helping out--but it can be a little much if the same question is asked on concurrent days.

What time of year is your wedding. Are you looking for a church or outdoor?
South Ferry Church in Narragansett is a nice little chapel it is near the URI Bay Campus. The Old Narragansett Church in Wickford Village is very old and quaint they are connected with ST Pauls episcopal church in Wickford.  For outside in that area how about Smiths Castle on Post Road has a beautiful setting and I know they are inexpensive.
