Hi! I'm getting married at Chapel By the Sea in Colt State Park. Just wanted to know if anyone had a wedding there. If so can you send me some pictures or ideas:) I think I know what I want for decorations but just looking for some more ideas! Thanks Jessica

Hey, i don't know the anwser to your post. But I am stuck on a ceremony site and was trying to get informatoin on chapel by the sea. Is it all outside. How many people can fit there. Thanks and hope someone can help you on your post!

I think with the use of florals, maybe around the perimeters and a few arrangements at the alter it would look nice.  You could also use lanters around the outside and alter space for a later afternoon wedding.  The other thing I was thinking when I looked at it was creating a fabric boarder - panels of fabric strung between upright poles.

I'm getting married there in April!  I'm trying to think of something to put down in the aisle in case of mud.  Also, I rented ut the covered pavillion next door in case of rain.  It was only $35 for the day and gives me some peace of mind.  Just a thought!

I'm getting married there next summer too! Are you having your reception there as well or just your ceremony? 

We are not having a religious ceremony but we loved being able to see the ocean behind the alter so we got extras of our centerpieces (colored mason jars with hydrangeas) that we will line up on the alter since it wont be used.  I was also planning to get some sort of runner because the center aisle was looking pretty dusty (less grass than dirt) and I didn't like the look of it. 

We have had some family concerns about the possible heat (we'll be getting married in July) so I was thinking of getting some sort of canopy for the ceremony but the ocean breeze is usually beautiful and keeps it tolerable.

To rent the chapel is $15 for4 hours and you can rent the adjoining pavilion for $35 for the whole day ($50 total seems pretty good to me!).  If you go to the park office at the back of the park you can do your reservation.  The womans name is Kristin and she is really helpful.  The only "rule" they really have is that there is no alcohol allowed.

Oh, and the chapel has seating for 90 guests...

Hi! I just looked into the Chapel by the Sea. Could you guys send me some more info? Are you just having the ceremony there or both the ceremony and reception? I'm kinda excited about this venue!

Hi.... I'm gonna try to revive this post because I think we want to get married at colt state park...... I'm trying to gather all the info I can...... Anyone who knows anything about weddings at the chapel by the sea PLEASE help!
