venues not listed on the knot

Hi girls!  I've been under the assumption that every possible RI venue is listed here under "Local Vendors."  Then I saw a beautiful wedding at Shelter Harbor Golf Course on StyleMePretty & realized I'm clearly missing out on some venues!  So - what other places are missing?

It is good to be aware that some websites require vendors to pay to be on them.  You can find out good information by going through the message board and/or using the search feature (just be specific).  I found my venue in SE MA from one random message board post, otherwise I never would have known it existed.  I also recommend visiting the other wedding sites out there.

Ditto PP, a lot of wedding sites require vendor payment.  weddingwire.com is another great resource to look at reviews and search by area. 

These boards are amazing resources if you have specific criteria in mind, there are many hidden venues out there that don't pay for advertising.
