I am getting married in a little less than 9 months and I wanted to start getting in shape now.

I need some recommendations for gyms/classes/trainers in the area (Fall River, Attleboro, Providence, Seekonk) that worked for people.  I bought P90X over a year ago, but I just do not have the motivation to do a workout on my own at home.

I would strongly recommend CrossFit, there is one in Providence and a new one just opened in Cranston.  It is an intense workout very similar to P90X but its also a totally scaleable welcoming environment.  The class size is small which allows you to work almost one on one with a trainer. 

My fiance and I started it earlier this year and it has been amazing.  Definitely challenging but also very fun and you feel so accomplished.  I'm not sure if there are other locations in Southern Mass but it's a great fitness concept that you will see results with.

i have been doing gravity efi personal training at gold's gym once a week in pawtucket  since june, and now twice a week through august (my wedding is labor day weekend). that, coupled with regular cardio and eating sensibly, has made a HUGE difference, much more so than all the things i did on my own. there is something about having a trainer push you that really gets more results!

You could always sign-up with planet fitness they have personal trainers at a budget friendly cost.

Thanks everyone!! I have called around to a few gyms to get pricing & see if a personal trainer is in the budget.

the CrossFit looks cool, but a bit expensive, but if that's what it takes to get results, then I'm game!!
