Bachelorette?

Any idea on bachelorette parties in our area..we like to party but no clubs about 12 of us..just looking for something creative!

Re: Bachelorette?

  • My ladies took me to polo in Portsmoth. It was  a blast, we had a ton of fun- they set up tables and had tons of champagnes and all kinds of pickies and sandwiches and dips etc.
Then we went into town and stayed at a hotel and went out for drinks later on that nigt.
We had the most fun int he hotel room together getting ready and dancing!
  • Tour the local wineries then go out for the evening! There are three in RI - Sakonnet Vineyards, Greenvale Vineyards, and Newport Vineyards. Unless you have a DD, though, rent a limo. There's lots of driving b/w the wineries!

  • We are going to Block Island for a weekend in June!  Spending the day on the beach then going out at night!
  • We're doing an overnight at either Mohegan or Foxwoods.

  • We decided to have a champagne spa day at Spadyssey in Providence RI.
  • My girls planned a night at Foxwoods for my bachelorette party...but it wasn't the typical club night.
We did the luxury bowling lanes.  Food and drinks were included as well as the shoe rental.  We drank, ate, bowled, and had a FANTASTIC time!! It was so different and so much fun!!
We did go back to the room to change and go out for the night dancing.  But you could always do the same, but dress up and go back to the casino for drinks, or maybe there is a show or whatnot.
We had two hotel rooms as well with all sorts of snacks and champagne and whatnot so we could all get ready together and enjoy every moment of the day/night.
Also, one of my bridesmaids and myself went up earlier in the day.  We spent the day at the spa before meeting up with the rest of the girls for the other activities...such a wonderful time!!
  • For mine, we started the night off at Melting Pot, which had a package that included 2 hours of open bar. There were about 12 of us; our waiter was awesome and put up with our crazy antics. After that we went to Point Street Dueling Piano Bar. I didn't want anything too crazy and this was absolutely perfect!
