Has anyone used Pro's for photographers and DJ?

My FI and I recently went to one of the Pro's event to meet the different photographers and DJ available.  We got a decent package set up, and now we are wondering if anyone has ever used them?  Can you tell me how you liked them, and is there a particular DJ and photographer you would recommend?

Thanks again ladies for all your help.

I didn't use them and I haven't even looked into them, but there have been a lot of negatives about them on the local AND national boards. I know that probably doesn't help very much but you can do a search on the boards and a lot of stuff comes up for them, or you could also look for reviews on weddingwire, etc.
Here's one example of what some of the knotties have said:

I used Portrait New England and they were really flexible with my budget and the coverage I wanted. Overall, I couldn't have been happier that I chose them.

We didn't end up using a DJ but we had thought about it and almost hired Sound Force Unlimited because we met them at a friend's wedding and really liked them.

Good luck, I hope this helps...

My friend used a photographer from the Pros and needless to say she was less than impressed with her wedding photos. The photographer, who she did not meet until a day before the wedding missed some very important shots that was on her Must Have list. The photographer was also half an hour late citing Friday afternoon rush hour as her excuse. My friend booked the Pro after meeting them at an event and receiving a really discounted package rate. I tried talking her out of it but she was on a tight budget. This was a case of "you get what you pay for". There are tons of many more of these stories on the web and like someone mentioned above on The Knot too. If you have a budget or price range you'd like to stay within, we can recommend some wonderful local talent.

We didn't use Pro's, but Paula Larimer was our photographer and she is fabulous, I'd hire her again in a heartbeat.
