Newport wedding hair/makeup

I am getting married next summer in Newport and currently trying to figure out who is going to do hair and make up for myself and my bridesmaids. I contacted Jennie Kay several times, but she never returned my emails, calls, etc. Very strange! I am looking in to Sara Faella. Has anyone ever used Wavelengths? I appreciate your help!

I have never used Sara or Wavelengths, but I'm from the area. I go to RaNew Salon in Newport. They are great! The girls are fun and the prices are reasonable for the area. Some of them will travel to you, too, on the day of. My stylist/makeup person is, and I've been going to her for 8 years. There's also plenty of free parking at RaNew, which at Wavelengths I think it's all meters or pay lots. Just something to consider... in Newport parking is HUGE. Otherwise it's either meters or pay lots which are usually at least $5.

My husband and I were married last week in Newport and we used Sara and her Glam Squad.... there honestly aren't enough words to describe how wonderful Sara is!! 

Every one of my bridesmaids, mother, aunt and flower girls were so happy with her work and I absolutely adore her!  She did a wonderful job on my hair and makeup and after I met with her for a trial I didn't bother looking for anyone else

Sara is upbeat, gorgeous, loves what she does and will make sure you are 100% happy.  I saw her for 2 trials and by the time she arrived for my wedding I felt like i was seeing an old friend.  Our wedding was cancelled (twice) because of the hurricane and despite all the last minute changes, Sara accomodated us 100% and never made us feel like we were an inconvenience.  She was willing to travel (with her Glam Squad) up to Boston if we were unable to use our venue.

I havent' written my reviews on the Knot yet but I saw this post and wanted to jump in with my thoughts

I also second the talented Sara Faella and her glam squad. She can visit her site or her FB page for pictures and more info. Sara has a studio in Westerly and Providence but she travels to site.

Hi! I am getting married next summer also.  I choose Jennie Kay who is doing my hair and makeup and my bridesmaids.  I know that she just had a baby a couple months ago and its only a one person salon that she owns.  I would highly recommend her for your hair and makeup.  Go to her facebook page.  I know that she been busy with doing hair and makeup for a movie and also a halloween commercial.  Well i wish you the best!
