Opinion on Expos?

Hello Knot Brides- I've been engaged for over a year and am really starting to plan my wedding for June 25th- I have been wondering if anyone has found those Wedding Expos helpful? I think I'd just be overwhelmed by all the vendors out there!! Any advice?

I just got invited to the "All For You Wedding Showcase" in Rehoboth, MA, advertised as "intimate and comfortable setting" thoughts on this?

Look forward to blogging with you!

It really depends on the expo. I always checked the exhibitor's list to see if there were vendors I was already interested in or heard of on The Knot. The expo provided a excellent opportunity to meet them and check out their work /portfolio (in one place all in one day). You really get a good feel for the vendors. I also found special offers and discounts were available at the expo so it equal additional savings. My favorites were the Grand Bridal Expo hosted by Grace Ormonde and Spectacular Bridal Event.

I'd stick to the big expos with vendors you've heard of. I went to a few and thought the best was the one at the R.I. Convention Center. I enjoyed the fashion shows at the larger ones; some of the smaller ones just had models walking around in gowns, which isn't really the same thing.

The All 4 You one sounds like they're mostly trying to "sell" their venue, Five Bridge Inn. If the vendors there are ones you think you'd use (I couldn't find a list), then check it out.
