Sending Invites

I am getting married July 4th weekend, so should I be sending out my invitations earlier than if it was not a holiday weekend. Or would my save the dates be enough notice.

    I think your STDs should be good and then send out the actual invites 8 wks prior.

    I am getting married on July 4.  I sent my save the dates a few weeks ago and pretty much everyone already knew the date anyway since we have a smallish guest list.  My invitations person told me to send them just a little earlier than normal because of the holiday.  I think 8 weeks before is probably good.

    i think you should be good with your STDs.

    We sent invites out 8 wks prior with the rsvp 4 weeks prior.

    I think if you send them too early..you'll get even more stragglers who don't rsvp timely
