NWR: Shoes-- repeat of last week's

hi! I posted this last week but I can't see the responses since the knot is wacky!!
I am heading to China in 3 weeks for work. I will be walking upwards of 9-11 hours a day!!! through factories and int eh  street markets to find products for my clients.

Does anyone have a suggestion of a cute flat they have worn that is INSANELY comfortable but will still look onk with wrap dresses or dress pants?

Re: NWR: Shoes-- repeat of last week's

  • Oh, I responded to that. Sorry TK is being whacky.

I have 4 pairs of Tieks by Gavrielli, (<-Clicky) and they are so comfortable.  I know that they are a little on the expensive side, but when the weather is nice out, I wear them every day, and I'm on my feet a lot for work.  They come in great colors too. And possibly the best part for you, since you will be traveling, is that they fold in half, and take up very little space, which is great for packing.  They also come in a great little bag to protect them and keep your other things from getting dirty from the soles of the shoes.

Here is a stock picture of the ones that I have.

  • I love Easy Spirit shoes. I know some people think their shoes are for old ladies, but they've improved a lot, and they're wicked comfy. I just bought these flats, and LOVE them! They're like wearing slippers.

And they're on sale for $40, so who can beat that?? The black ones are cute and can be dressed up or worn with jeans.

  • Any of the comfort brands at Macy's are usually safe but not always the most stylish.  I love Born shoes, their flats are cute and comfortable.  You can sometimes find them at Marshalls/TJMaxx at a great price!
  • I wear dansko nursing shoes because they are comfy but not the most attractive. So I only wear them at the nursing home. However, I am also a HUGE fan of teva sandals which I wore while walking in the rainforest in Puerto Rico and trekking through the ruins of Angkor Wat in Cambodia so I swear by them. Soft also makes comfortable and attractive shoes for business too.

  • I love Dr. Scholl's flats from DSW.  I just got rid of a pair that I had for several years because they were getting kind of gross, but I can't wait to go buy a new pair.

  • oh and the sketchers mary jane sneakers.  They have biker treads on the bottom. Mine have rhinestones on them. I bought them for work right after i injured my back to try to fit in with the dress up of downtown. They have a bunch of styles i have wore them to wedding for dancing shoes once. They might be a good mix of comfort and some dress up.
