Marriott Newport Spa Hair & Make-up

Hi,

When looking to view a venue for our wedding, I visited the Newport Marriott Spa, which does hair and make-up.  I thought the people were nice as well as the facility.  I am booked to do a trial for my hair and make-up there in June for our Labor Day weekend wedding.  Does anyone have any experience with them?  We live in Connecticut, but have only been here for a year, so I don't know any stylists in RI and not really anyone in CT.  My connections are all back in AZ, which is where we previously lived.

Any thoughts/experiences/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  I want a down do and I do not like heavy make-up and foundation.

     I am getting married in  Northern California but I come to RI  in the summer to see my family. I found a hairstylist one summer and have loved her ever since.  She was so personable and talented!!! Her name is Jennie Kay and she has a beauty parlour in Middletown RI
