9-18-10 Wedding Reviews (Part 1)

Hey girls!  I didn't post most of the time, but I was definitely a lurker.  I found many people's reviews very helpful in making my own choices for my wedding day, so I wanted to do the same for all those looking into their vendors.

DB Photography (David Bibeault and Jamie Harrington) - A+ (pending photos) Dave was great, as we knew he would be, and Jamie was wonderful.  We were so impressed with how easy they were to work with.  Dave and our videographer, Mike Picard, worked great together.  One thing I must say is that Dave's assistant, Jamie, was fantastic.  He told us about 10:30 PM that he would be leaving soon and told us that it was nice working with us, and then he STILL stayed until AFTER the last dance!  Incredible!  We were expecting him to be leaving not too long after he said bye, but he saw there was still so much going on that he wanted to get photos of.  I would definitely recommend DB Photography to anyone.

Mike Picard Videography - A+ (pending video) Mike was great to work with, he got along really well with Dave and never got in our way at all during the night.  I didn't even know he was there!  It was wonderful!  Also, the photo collage he did to play during the reception was unbelievable... everything we asked for and more!  Definitely would recommend.

Sentinel Limo - A- I thought the limo was gorgeous, the driver knew where he was going, was very easy to work with, but did confuse us a little when we got to our final destination, we didn't know where any of the stuff we had in the limo went until someone (not the driver) told us he had put it in the bridal room.  Overall I would definitely recommend though.

KM Design Studio - (Day of Coordination) A- Ken was great to work with.  Any issues I had, I took up with him and he made sure something was done to fix it.  For instance, my cake had a "W" initial on it, which my new last name was beginning with the letter "A", so I freaked out a little bit, but he assured me that he would take care of it, and he did!  He moved around a few of the flowers on top of the cake to hide the mistake and no one knew the difference.  He also had great ideas for photos.

Shirlee Allenson (Cake) - C The cake came out gorgeous, except for the fact that she put a "W" on the front of the cake when my last name was supposed to be "A".  I called her on it the day after the wedding and said that on two sides of the tier it had a "W" for William and the other two had a "D" for Deanna, but I definitely expressed to her that she should have just went with our last initial, due to the fact that in pictures you only see one side of the cake, which she didn't argue.  She was also very hard to get in contact with and she increased the price from her original quote to me by $100.00.  I would use caution if you are going to use her... she works out of her house, so the only people that would have even heard of her are people that were referred to her.  The price is great and the cake looked great, but I would definitely not use her again, just for the complications I had.
