Femme Fatale hair service - bad review!

I was just in a wedding in Newport that had two stylists from Femme Fatale salon in Providence come to the venue to do everyone's hair. Unfortunately, none of us had a pleasant experience with them. Several of the bridesmaids had their hair rolled and pinned for hours just to end up with straight hair before they even left for pictures. Several girls went back to have them fix what they had done because it was either falling out already, or just did not look well finished. The groom's mother took out what they did and ended up doing her own hair. The mother of the bride brought combs that she wanted to use in her hair and they would not put them in. The bride had a hair piece put in which looked great with the style they gave her, but she could already feel it shifting before she even left for pictures. The stylist that did my hair just put it in a side ponytail and used 8 bobby pins to wrap pieces of hair around the hairtie. That's it, about 5 minutes. Within a few minutes of leaving the room the pins were falling out and my long "bangs" were falling out in my face. I took it out and did my own style with the help of our amazing makeup artist. Even she commented that she couldn't believe how terrible the hairstyles were turning out.

The worst part was that they did not have very professional attitudes, which several people commented on. If you walked in the room and didn't tell them exactly what you wanted them to do then they didn't want to see you and would do someone else. I sat down and started describing my dress thinking that they would give me a few ideas that would go with that style, but instead they just got frustrated and did the low side ponytail.

I looked up the salon website when I got home and couldn't believe that one of the two stylists was actually the owner. I would have never expected the experience we got from the owner of a salon. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and I hope that nobody else has to deal with that on their wedding day.
