Bridal Shower Locations

I know I saw a post that was posted recently asking for bridal shower locations - however that post was focusing mainly on outdoor sites.  I'm am interested in any site that would host a bridal shower at a decent cost.  I am one of the bridesmaids and some of the other bridesmaids are strapped for cash so we are trying to help the brides mother as much as we can.  We dont want something cheap, just something at a reasonable price.  The wedding has a beach theme so something along those lines would be nice, but not a necessity.  We would prefer to not have to cook/provide the food ourselves or hire an outside cateror, so also something that would cover food in the cost. Any suggestions will help!!!!!!! Thanks ladies!!!!!

Top of the Bay in Warwick Neck is reasonable and the food is yummy.  I think it's $11pp for lunch.  No separate room, though.

I just had my baby shower at CAV for brunch and it was FANTASTIC.  Everyone raved about the food.  It's $15pp for brunch.  (All the info is on their website.)

    Good luck!

I have been to nice bridal showers at Chelo's on the water, 1149, Meritage,  Gregg's on Airport Road, Ferns and flowers.

I have been to not nice bridal showers at Crow's nest, Greggs on North Main,  and Cherrystones.  In these cases, the service was horrible and some guests (like me) were served cold food.

Pricing tends to vary dramatically based on the food selection.  Brunches tend to be more reasonable than lunch or afternoon tea.

How about Cafe Fresco in East Greenwich.
I've heard it mentioned on here a few times and my friend just had her sisters shower there and it went over really wel.

I also just went to a shower at Chelos ont he water- and it was a lot of fun. The just did pasta/and sandwiches/salad and pasta salad /meatball kinda lunch.
I've known Chelos to be pretty affordable.

I know someone mentioned CAV. Its not on the water but I have to second it. We had my cousins showe there and likely, mine will be there as well. The Brunch is HUGE and its liek $18 with a mimosa or 15 without PP. which I think is a really great price since most people won't drink more than that. I'm just assuming that based on most sowers it between 20 adn 35 people.  So that would likely run you around $500 bucks.

I think Coast Guard house also does a brunch and their menu is on their site, if you really want "WATER FRONT!"

    Another vote for CAV! Yum.

Mine was at Gregg's on Post Road in Warwick and it went really well. Food was great and the service was fantastic; a lot of my friends actually remarked about how smooth it all was considering how many they had to serve.

My husband's cousin's baby shower was at Cafe Gianna in Coventry. On Sundays, they do a family-style chicken dinner with all-you-can-eat salad, macaroni, roasted chicken and french fries for $9.99/person. They let us bring in our own cake.

Sorry those aren't on the water. What about Coast Guard House in Narragansett? A little far from your bride's house, but a great view. Might be a little more than you want to spend, though - two-item buffet is $21/person and it goes up from there the more choices you add.

A better deal, though farther south, is the Andrea Hotel in Misquamicut. Great spaces there, right on the water, and their event menu with prices is on their Web site.
